Lowkey today was probably the best football game I’ve had at MSU so far, though I think a lot of it could be attributed to the fact that I didn’t have to wear the bari basically at all. Bitter cold, high winds, insane rain, soaked through gloves (two pairs of them), and a disappointing game are nothing when it comes to less weight and pain and cool ass beanie. Though, this does mean that we haven’t played the full show for a home game…
I did try my best to kill my voice at the game (not a good idea) which was kinda easy when I didn’t have to switch between talking, cheering, and playing bari every other minute, but as cool as I think I sound afterward, it does not make singing any easier. I know people were huffy and puffy about singing because it’s bitterly cold outside still and no one wanted to stick around longer than needed, but honestly, it’s not something that I would miss, especially when it comes to doing it for others. RIP seniors, singing (even if it was only twice) and performing with you was pretty banger. (still have no idea whats happening while or after we sing tho lmao)
Also, on a completely different note, the MSU Bears are bowl-bound???? In our first C-USA season??? After our game today, I am utterly surprised, but stranger things have happened, I guess. I just hope we get all the info we need soon because I don’t want to have to change my whole family’s plans at the last minute.
What an odd day.
